 (1) RETURN POLICY: For purchases of parts and/or accessories (such as Laptop Power Adapters, etc) the following return policy applies: Refunds will only be available for 30 days from the date the item was delivered to the customer by the shipping carrier. Once a refund request is approved and an RMA issued, the item must be returned within 14 days. Refunds will be for the product price only and not include the cost of shipping paid by the customer except in cases of defective or incorrect products. Beyond 30 days, warranty service and exchanges will be available for the duration of the advertised warranty period for that particular product. For warranty service and replacements beyond 30 days, the cost of returning the product (return shipping) is the responsiblity of the customer. The warranty will be null and void for products showing signs of damage caused by the consumer and no refund or exchange will be completed. No request for warranty service or refunds will be processed until the orginal product is returned by the customer and received in our facility.


 (a) Diagnostics and Repairs: LaptopRescue.com will attempt to diagnose your laptop computer and/or other computer related equipment problem, provide an estimate of applicable service fees (plus parts if required), and then provide you with a repair solution. In certain cases, however, diagnosis and support may not be completed because of a problem with your computer or its configuration that is beyond our control.

(b) Your Responsibility: While LaptopRescue.com will make all reasonable efforts to safeguard the contents (data) stored on your computer, you understand and agree that prior to contacting or allowing LaptopRescue.com to perform diagnostic, repair, or other services on your computer, it is your responsibility to back-up the data, software, information or other files stored on your computer disks and/or drives if you so desire. You acknowledge and agree that LaptopRescue.com and/or its third-party service provider shall not be responsible under any circumstances for any loss, alteration, or corruption of any software, data, or files.

(c) Service Fees: You acknowledge that the flat labor rates published on LaptopRescue.com's web site apply to each repair component do not include the cost of parts. If LaptopRescue.com is successful in providing a repair solution you understand that the minimum labor/service fee is $49.00. You further acknowledge and agree that LaptopRescue.com will provide free diagnostic testing of your laptop computer and/or other computer related equipment only if you agree to complete the recommended service at the price quoted. In the event that you should decline quoted service you agree to pay a service fee in the amount of $29.95 plus pickup and return shipping charges. You agree to contact and discuss service options with LaptopRescue.com within 45 days from the date we receive your laptop. Once you provide verbal or electronic approval of service fees you agree to make payment for these fees within 30 days of the service completion date. If you later decline service you previously approved you agree to pay 100% of labor fees associated with this service plus a 20% restocking fee for any and all parts used to facilitate the repair.

(d) Abandonment of Property: If you fail to make contact with LaptopRescue.com for 60 consecutive days regarding the disposition of your laptop, LaptopRescue.com will consider your inaction as abandonment of property. You agree that LaptopRecue.com may take ownership and/or dispose of such abandoned property and hereby release LaptopRescue.com and waive any claims regarding such disposal.

(e) Repair Turnaround Times: The turnaround times published on the LaptopRescue.com web site do not include shipping time in transit and reflect only actual time in shop. Turnaround time also depends on availability of parts. If required parts are not in stock the turnaround time will not start until parts become available.

(f) Your Responsibility Regarding Shipping: (1) Initial laptop shipment from you to LaptopRescue.com: It is very important that you properly package your laptop prior to shipment to us. If you are using your own packaging materials you agree to follow the packaging procedures and standards outlined on our web site at www.laptoprescue.com/packaging.html. If you are using a laptop shipping container provided by LaptopRescue.com you agree to follow the packaging instructions provided with the box. You further agree that damages that occur during shipping will be sole responsibility of the shipping carrier and that LaptopRescue.com is not responsible for such damages. (2) Final shipment from LaptopRescue.com to you: Upon receipt of returned items from LaptopRescue.com you are responsible for inspecting and noting obvious damages to the package exterior to the UPS delivery person at the time you accept the package. You must accept the package before you can make a damage claim with UPS. Where shipped items have received damages internally, you are responsible for reporting this damage to LaptopRescue.com with 24-48 hours after receiving the package at which time we will advise you on UPS damage claim procedures. IMPORTANT: You must keep all packaging materials and have them ready for pickup and inspection by a UPS representative. DO NOT RETURN DAMAGED MERCHANDISE to LaptopRescue.com, UPS must first validate the damage claim. UPS damage claim procedures can be found on the UPS web site at www.ups.com/content/us/en/resources/service/claims/hlp/damage_process.html.

(g) Canceled Orders and Refund Policy: (1) Initial laptop service requests: If you wish to cancel a laptop repair service request you must do so before your safe-ship box or email label is processed and sent. You agree that no refunds will be issued for shipping, containers, or express processing fees at any time once an order has been processed and shipped. (2) Return of service parts: All parts purchased and used to facilitate service that you authorize are non-refundable. If the parts are defective in any way and a warranty is included with these parts LaptopRescue.com will instead replace or repair the part as specified in the warranty agreement for that part. (3) Return of general merchandise: If you wish to return merchandise purchased from LaptopRescue.com that was not used to facilitate service on your computer, such as external accessories, etc, you agree to pay a 20% restocking fee. You further agree that any shipping and handling charges you paid for this merchandise are non-refundable and that return shipping charges are solely your responsibility.



(b) FORCE MAJEURE: If LaptopRescue.com's ability to render laptop repair services is impaired by you or circumstances beyond the control of LaptopRescue.com, LaptopRescue.com may choose not to provide or to discontinue services.

(c) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: To the extent permitted by law, you agree that LaptopRescue.com's total liability for damages related to its services is limited to the total amount you pay for the these services (plus parts if applicable), and you release LaptopRescue.com from liability for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. LAPTOPRESCUE.COM IS NOT LIABLE FOR LOSS, ALTERATION, OR CORRUPTION OF ANY DATA OR FOR YOUR INABILITY TO USE YOUR COMPUTER EQUIPMENT OR OTHER PRODUCT. You further agree that generally, the State of Maryland and more specifically the County of Wicomico, shall have jurisdiction over any disputes arising from your use of any of LaptopRescue.com's services in the State of Maryland and that you shall pay reasonable court costs, attorneys fees, and other associated fees incurred by Webfire Strategy Group Inc. DBA Laptop Rescue and www.laptoprescue.com, as a result of any legal disputes initiated in said courts.

(d) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY DURING SHIPPING: LaptopRescue.com uses UPS as a reliable shipping carrier and in most cases provides between $500 and $1000 of shipping insurance for each shipment. LaptopRescue.com is not responsible for damages that occur during shipping, however damages should be processed using the procedures set forth by UPS located at www.ups.com/content/us/en/resources/service/claims/hlp/damage_process.html. LaptopRescue.com will provide UPS damage claim assistance provided you follow the damage claim procedures outlined in the terms of service section (e) above.


Service warranty policies are outlined on our web site at www.laptoprescue.com/warranty.php. Upon completion of service every laptop will undergo a thorough quality assurance check prior to shipping to ensure minimal defects. In the unlikely even you should encounter problems associated with the service that was performed on your laptop you agree to contact LaptopRescue.com with 7 days. A customer service representative will attempt to correct the problem via telephone or email, however if this is unsuccessful the representative may authorize the return of the laptop for a free follow up diagnostic service. You agree to pay all upfront shipping charges associated with returning the laptop to LaptopRescue.com, however if the problem is reported within 7 days from the date you initially received your laptop back, and the problem is found to be covered under our warranty policy, you may request to have these shipping charges credited to your account with a maximum credit of $18.00. You agree that shipping charges for any warranty service provided past 7 days from the date you received your laptop will be solely your responsibility.

IV. RETURNED PAYMENTS AND CREDIT CARD DISPUTES:  You agree not to iniate any credit card dispute for legitimate transactions made on our web site and instead work directly with our customer service team to resolve any issue you may have.  All credit card disputes (chargebacks) will be considered Returned Payments and a $35.00 returned payment fee will be assessed to you and subtracted from any refunds you may be issued.
